Two bodies meet sound as if it could listen, respond, and remember. This work imagines music as a living presence—one that speaks through movement, resonance, and shared breath. This work was developed, in part, through New Dance Alliance’s Black Artists Space to Create Residency at Arts on Site Residency & Retreat.

'how sweet it is: to be loved by you' by THE MNTRO PRJCT is a solo work exploring the witnessed and unspoken closeness, curiosities, and care one had for their long-gone loved one; a dance with grief for the folks left with their memory.
