A(LONE)

A(LONE) is a raw and intimate solo work exploring the complexities of being human. The LONE series began in Chicago at Lou Conte Dance Studio at Hubbard Street Dance Center, as a collection of individual solo works performed by a hand-selected group of artists. The series later continued in New York City, including LONE Part 2 at Arts On Site, performed by alumni/guests of Dionna’s brand/business: moveDIPR LLC. After COVID interrupted the planned continuation of the series, PridGeon relocated to South Korea for 2.5 years, leaving LONE temporarily unfinished. Years later, following her return to New York City, PridGeon continues the series with A(LONE)—a deeply personal installment confronting identity grief, aging, displacement, loneliness, survival, the body, and her experience of living an unintended, nomadic lifestyle.
