AMANDA KRISCHE

AMANDA KRISCHE is an interdisciplinary movement artist, writer, educator, and herbalist creating socially-engaged work at the intersection of mythopoetics, neuroscience, gender studies, and ecology. Her work uses performance to interrogate perspectives of ritual and healing, and has premiered at such venues as the Kennedy Center, Carnegie Hall, Joe’s Pub, and The Kitchen and has been supported by YoungArts, Grace Farms Foundation, and the Jerome Foundation. She has held residencies at Omi International Arts Center, Keshet, Lower Manhattan Cultural Council Arts Center, Kaatsbaan Cultural Park, and the Camargo Foundation in Cassis, France. She is U.S. Presidential Scholar in the Arts. @amanda.krische
