CONGRATULATIONS / Lifelines

CONGRATULATIONS is an ode to ‘trinas’. It is somewhat a play, somewhat a choreographed work, and it was made to both celebrate the ballet community as well as hold it accountable. Featuring three speakers in different moments of eating disorder recovery, a demented corps de ballet, and a few musical fan favorites from the iconic classical narratives, it weaves a complicated picture of what it means to love a dying art while not letting it take you down with it.
