DIGITAL MOVEMENT DANCE / NIKKI AND THE NOISE

DANIEL MORIMOTO grew up in Orlando, Florida, immersed within an environment of theme parks, childlike splendor, and a faint sense of magic in the air. He graduated from the University of Florida with a BFA in Dance and a minor in German.   Currently, he dances with The Bang Group, Matthew Westerby Company, Nikki and the Noise, Amber Sloan, Catherine Tharin, and other companies on a project-by-project basis.  Daniel is the Artistic Director of Digital Movement Dance. The company’s works focus on the world-building and story-telling aspects of video games, and how to bring these elements to live performance. @DigitalMovementDance @DanielDances

NIKKI AND THE NOISE is a contemporary dance company created by Nikki Assanti. N+N makes highly physical, visceral choreography and builds community through classes, workshops, and self-produced performances. Nikki is Associate Director of Cora Dance Brooklyn where she also dances for the Shannon Hummel / Cora Dance professional company, directs the Modern Cora Youth Company, and teaches Modern. Nikki is on faculty at Open Arts Studio. She is a certified yoga instructor and has a BFA in dance from the University of Florida. @nikkiandthenoise
