Ginsberg’s Howl

Back by popular demand for an encore performance, Arts on Site invites you to experience this entirely new recitation and musical interpretation of Ginsberg’s ground-breaking poetic masterpiece Howl. Performed by master jazz improviser Kirk Knuffke (cornet) and Justin Jay Hines (percussion), Ginsberg’s Howl has stood the test of time and remains the signature literary achievement of the Beat Generation.

Percussionist, composer, and teaching artist Justin Jay Hines has performed with the New York Philharmonic, Bway’s In the Heights, Tarzan, and Pippin, and serves on the faculty of MSM.

Jazz Cornetist Kirk Knuffke has performed with James Brandon Lewis, John Medeski, Cecile Mclorin-Salvant, and was named the winner of Downbeat magazine’s “Rising Star” critic’s poll. @Justinjayhines
