MASON LEE DANCE THEATER

MASON LEE DANCE THEATER (MLDT) is a dance theater company that focuses on storytelling, artists experience, and audience engagement. They strive to create intriguing and layered stories, movement, and sound to further push the art forms of dance and theater. This fall, MLDT, will be performing two programs: PROGRAM A & PROGRAM B. Both performances feature new, reimagined, and previous work from choreographer Mason Lee. @mldt.nyc

MASON LEE is a bicoastal interdisciplinary based choreographer, dancer, and writer. He has studied at dance institutions such as Center of Creative Arts (COCA), The Ailey School, and Professional Performing Arts High School, Most recently, he graduated from NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts with a Major in Dance and Minor in Pre-law. He has presented work nationally including venues such as Stomping Ground LA, Hollywood Majestic Theater, COCA’s Catherine B. Berges Theater, and NYU’s Jack Crystal Theater to name a few.  As he has developed and grown, Mason has progressed into a person that pushes boundaries, asks questions, and continues to define the “human experience”. When encountering his work, you will be put into a headspace that makes you become more curious about movement, music, and identity.
