Choreographed, Curated and Written by Ummkhair Brown HAPPY 67th BIRTHDAY MICHAEL JACKSON!! A reimagining of Nocturne new blood, Nocturne 21 offers a fresh choreographic interpretation while remaining faithful to the original narrative. Guided by the spirit of Avel's lungs, the work weaves together embodied number symbolism drawn from African American folklore, revealing new pathways through ancestry, ritual, and collective healing. Through this evolution, familiar stories are revisited with renewed breath, deeper resonance, and expanded possibility. Join us for "N21", the second of the two "Nocturnes", with a chance to chat with the artists and vibe to the sounds of an eclectic playlist infused with 67 years of MJ!
