NOSEDIVE: Yaroque Dance Theatre / Sophia Perone & Harry Sukonik

Mind the Gap created by Sophia Perone in collaboration with Harry Sukonik and Kayla Laufer explores fleeting moments of connection between strangers in public spaces—how lives briefly intersect, shift, and then move on. Three individuals from different walks of life come together for ten minutes while waiting for trains that will carry them to separate destinations. The piece examines strangers in conflict, in love, and in friendship, capturing the quiet beauty of a moment that exists only in passing.

Mishegas is the latest work from Yaroque Dance Theatre and choreographer Shelby Green, examining the contradictions of community: how it can uplift, contain, comfort, and control. Drawing from traditional Jewish dance, Gaga, and American line dancing, the piece moves through humor, theatricality, and emotional vulnerability to explore belonging, conformity, and collective joy.
