Sound Companion: Dances to Henry Cowell

Sound Companion: Dances to Henry Cowell celebrates the composer’s radical early works for solo piano through the choreography of Aaron Loux and Karlie Budge and the dynamic musicianship of George Lykogiannis.

Aaron Loux is a dance artist, choreographer, educator, and critic working at the intersection of concert dance, music, and historical research to explore queer relationality and enliven artistic lineages through choreographic intervention.

Karlie Budge is a dancer, stager, and choreographer who is currently a member of the Mark Morris Dance Group. Her choreography focuses on human, natural, and spiritual relationships with an emphasis on musicality.
