Stephanie Saywell & Helen Wicks

Stephanie Saywell & Helen Wicks present a split bill of three dance works. Saywell will present her piece Matryoshka and a new work. Wicks will present her piece Radio Vision.

Stephanie Saywell (she/her) is a NYC-based choreographer, performer, clown, dramaturg, devised-theatre maker, and published poet. In her work she builds fully fleshed worlds through intimate character work, the athletic negotiation of space and body, movement, and text, and explores the line between drama and play. www.stephaniesaywell.com

Helen Wicks (she/her) is a choreographer and performance historian. Her work references archival film scores, talkies, historical performances, and the influence of vaudeville on pop culture. Her piece, Radio Vision, uses epigenetics, oral history, fantasy, and memory to contextualize performance on stage and screen over the past 100 years. www.helenwicks.com
