Carly Shraga is a contemporary dance artist and choreographer who creates work rooted in personal experience, narrative, and political influence. Her practice is driven by a deep curiosity about how movement can reveal the raw complexities of the human experience. How it can hold authenticity, imagination, and the unpredictable nature of the future. She is interested in how dance can both reflect and reshape the world around us, allowing the work to speak for itself. Improvisation, collaboration and partnerwork, are often used in her process, serving as tools for discovery and dialogue. Her choreography often incorporates objects, spatial design, and pedestrian movement to blur the line between performance and raw human experience.
